Joanna studied Interior Design and Architecture both in Poland and London. She gained her experience with several London based Interior and Architecture firms, often working as a lead designer on prestigious residential and commercial projects located in the UK and overseas.
With experience in luxury interiors, but her heart close to nature, Joanna creates interiors that are focused not only on aesthetic enhancement and functional needs, but also on environmental issues. She’s committed to prove that it’s possible to create sophisticated, well designed spaces using ethical and sustainable products. Spaces that are treasured, hold memories and mature with time.
‘I feel that it’s time to establish connection between my choices as a designer and the impact they have on the environment. I am hoping that proposing beautiful, natural choices to my clients will give their homes the potency of more than just a fashionable style. And choosing best quality, sustainable materials combined with great craftsmanship will ensure the longevity of their living environment.’
Joanna enjoys spending her free time experiencing various forms of art and design - from ceramics, jewellery making, life drawing and screen-printing to textile dying and form casting. This passion for all things hand made nourishes Joanna’s sense of style, attention to the finest of detail and adds to her extensive knowledge of material use. Her manual skills sometimes lead her to take on tasks that subcontractors resist to complete – be it bespoke colouring of grouting, bespoke joinery staining with home made solution or small furniture restoration jobs!
She is also a keen traveller, animal lover and is developing a real passion for gardening.
